Does your vehicle have a “black box”?

Does your passenger vehicle, pickup truck, minivan or SUV have a “black box”?  “Black box” technology has been in use in most passenger vehicles for decades now.  This “black box” is typically termed an Event Data Recorder (EDR) and can record pre- and post-impact data such as impact speed, change in velocity (“delta v”), whether (and to what extent) brakes were being applied, seat belt usage and other potentially useful data.

In order to access these data, BRi has the most up-to-date Crash Data Retrieval (CDR) hardware & software for all currently available vehicles.  Call us today if you have any questions concerning a particular vehicle.
